This is a versatile, lightweight, unmanned MedRange Star designed for applications that require industrial grade reliability. It can fly for up to 4 hours along planned routes and operate fully autonomously.

This system is best suited for close to mid-range applications such as:
Industrial, agricultural, maritime, oil industry, geographical and environmental surveillance, law enforcement, aerial photography and filming, SAR, disaster monitoring & fire detection.

The payload capacity is 12 kg (including fuel) which can give an endurance of up to 4 hours when carrying light payloads weighing not more than 2 kg.

Airframe:

This is built from aircraft grade aluminum and composite materials. Its' construction featuring a full metal power train, gives it an outstanding reliability. Main and tail rotors are driven by sealed, lubricated transmissions with hardened steel gears to ensure reliable function throughout the system's life.

Auto Pilot:

The autopilot conducts automatic preflight checks, permanently monitors system health and informs the operator instantly if an unusual or critical event is encountered. The autopilot will react according to the encountered error and will then enter predefined patterns to recover the failure, return to base or take customizable emergency actions such as activating recovery equipment. Especially for safety critical applications, a triple redundant autopilot version can be used to ensure a failsafe standard, similar to manned aviation.
